REDONGO
RED ON - GO!
Celebrating 50 years of Royal Air Force parachute training
Red On - Go! was an 18 month publishing project to celebrate 50 years of RAF parachute training, based at RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire. We photographed and interviewed a cross section of people within the industry including; trainee paras, instructors, manufacture, the C130 Hercules experience, the Chinook experience, the balloon experience, MFF, HALO, HAHO, water drops, mass launch exercises, RAFSPA, low level and many more. It was a fascinating experience and of course we just had to jump ourselves. All photographs by Jon Davison, assisted by Richard Leonard. Grateful thanks to No1 Parachute Training School and RAF Brize Norton, RAF Lyneham, RAF Hullavington, RAFSPA, RAF Lee-on-Solent.
