Alexis Bachofen
PHOTOGRAPHER/BUSINESS MANAGER
Alexis first studied as a photographer, but found himself working in the film and television industry, in between London, Los Angeles, and then Perth, for twelve years.
Having worked within management with such notable companies as Disney, Propaganda and Hallmark Entertainment, he assembled excellent administration skills.
In addition his journalistic and award-winning professional photographic talents are a welcome asset to Eye in the Sky.
Jon Davison
PHOTOGRAPHER/ART DIRECTOR
Jon is one of the world’s leading aviation photographers, specialising in air-to-air imagery, and his work has appeared in countless books and magazines.
He has self-published 18 books, covering such diverse subjects as submarines, travel and airshows. Prior to creating Eye in the Sky twelve years ago, Jon spent 20 years as a travel photographer and illustrated well over 100 travel guides for publishers such as Berlitz, Fodors and Lonely Planet. Part-time, he has been teaching Adobe Photoshop for the University of Western Australia’s Extension for adult education for over seven years.
David Adamson
CAMERASHIP PILOT
David has been flying helicopters since 1983 and has more than 10,000 hours of helicopter experience conducting just about every form of helicopter operation possible.
He is highly experienced in low-level aerial filming with a number of camera systems, including gyro-stabilised, fixed and still photography. Air-to-air photography involving two or more aircraft is one operation in which David has many hours of expertise, and which he lists as one of his favourites.
