History

Eye in the Sky was started in 2000 by aviation photographer Jon Davison as a visual resource for the worldwide aviation industry. To further increase the company’s  capabilities, ESP acquired the skills of photographer and partner Alexis Bachofen in 2007. The company expanded to include the production and publishing of high quality photographic magazines and coffee table books. Their specialist field is shooting their subject matter from helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft.  Clients include Pilatus Aircraft, BAE Systems, L3 Communications, SAAB Defence,  the Royal Australian Navy, and Fremantle Press.

‘Although shooting aircraft is our passion, we are equally at home portraying the earth, or shooting beneath the sea. Good imagery sells, it’s that simple’.
